“Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.” (I Timothy 4:12)
Who says that teenagers can not make adult decisions? After studying the bible for the past few months, on October 21st, 2006, Liz Harden, a freshman at Cedarcrest Junior High School was baptized into Christ. After several days of continuous rain, God opened up the sky with sun the morning of Liz’s conversion. Before her baptism, many friends and family shared about how encouraged they were to see Liz have her sins forgiven and start a new life with God. Liz’s mother, Regina, even commented that ever since she was little girl, “Liz has always had a heart for God.” Liz said that the turning point of her studies that lead her to true repentance was the challenging, yet, inspiring lessons that she learned at this past year’s 2006 Survivor Summer Teen Camp. Praise be to God for us witnessing another miracle in the Tacoma Teen Ministry of the South Sound Church of Christ.
