Priolo, Lou, Teach Them Diligently.

Woodruff: Timeless Texts, 2000,

160 pages.

All of us as disciples of Jesus desire what God does: healthy families based on the truth of scripture. As a parent, when I began raising my kids, I embarked on a long, intense,  and ever-growing search for good books that could augment the instruction of the  Bible for my family.  While there are  many good books available, there are few with as much good scriptural guidance  as  Teach Them Diligently,  by Lou Priolo.

This book is packed with practical, helpful insights from God’s Word for teaching and  training our children, not simply “telling” them how to live. Biblical instruction for discipline and admonishment are found throughout, and there is an extremely useful index providing a list of scriptures that deal with any and every challenge or character deficiency our  kids may have.  I found it a very  exciting read, and have consulted it many times since for reference. It is a must-have for the library of every Christian family.
